I was using the Arclite theme from designer Milenko Popovici (digitalnature), and went to his site to check for updates to the theme. I saw Mystique theme there and loved it instantly. So, I will be using it for my blog from now on. This man has real talent! 🙂
Is there any way I can use different header image for each page?
I don’t think so.
Really nice work editing the theme, I just made a spanish translation for this theme that suits perfectly to context, here’s the link in case one of your visitors could make use of it.

Great source, thanks.
I already fixed it!!!
How can I hide the website title? wich in on my website is called: Justin Wierdsma | Digitaal Portfolio.
Is it possible to get a larger image header?
I was wondering what plugins you were using for the facebook and linked in bobbles there at the top? I assume that this is just an updated version of the Mystique theme… maybe that is all it is, I haven’t updated… please email me!

Is there any reason behind using old Mystique Theme Rather than using Mystique 2.4.2
No. I just did not need to upgrade.
HI,
I have Mystique 2.2.2 and I wanna add more button for featured posts (like in the new version 2.4.2) and I don’t know how .
Can u help me please ?
I’d appreciate that.
I don’t know how to do that, you may be able to get an answer on http://www.digitalnature.ro
I use this template for several of my project homepage(s).
I would like to know, How to change the Menu navigation bar like that (Black)?
Please advice.
Thx!
Hi Matthew,
Add the following to your User CSS tab on Mystique Settings.
/* Black navigation */ ul.navigation{background-position:left -464px;background-color:#000;} ul.navigation li{background-position:right bottom;} ul.navigation li a{text-shadow:none;color:#b3b3b3;} ul.navigation li.active a, ul.navigation li.current_page_item a,ul.navigation li.current_page_parent a,ul.navigation li.current_page_ancestor a, ul.navigation li.current-cat a,ul.navigation li.current-cat-parent a,ul.navigation li.current-cat-ancestor a{background-position:left -164px;color:#fff;} ul.navigation li a:hover,ul.navigation li:hover a,ul.navigation li a.fadeThis span.hover{background-color:rgba(255,255,255,0.1);} ul.navigation li:hover li a{background-color:transparent;} ul.navigation li li a:hover,ul.navigation li li a.fadeThis span.hover{background-color:#ed1e24 !important;} ul.navigation li.active a span.pointer, ul.navigation li.current_page_item a span.pointer,ul.navigation li.current_page_parent a span.pointer,ul.navigation li.current_page_ancestor a span.pointer, ul.navigation li.current-cat a span.pointer,ul.navigation li.current-cat-parent a span.pointer,ul.navigation li.current-cat-ancestor a span.pointer {background-position:center bottom;} ul.navigation ul{background-color:rgba(0,0,0,0.66);border-color:#000;} ul.navigation li.active ul, ul.navigation li.current_page_item ul,ul.navigation li.current_page_parent ul,ul.navigation li.current_page_ancestor ul, ul.navigation li.current-cat ul,ul.navigation li.current-cat-parent ul,ul.navigation li.current-cat-ancestor ul {background-color:#656565;border-color:#656565;} ul.navigation ul ul{border-top:1px solid rgba(255,255,255,0.5);}Hello there! I´m using the Mystique-theme just like you. When I first visited your site I became really impressed of your custom design, and now I´m about to change the background on my own site into a custom one.
The problem is that when I upload my background-image, it only covers a part of the bakground, as you can see on this link: http://www.pryligatips.se/.
Do you know a css-code or something which makes my background-image to cover the hole site?
You have the following set in your User CSS tab. You should remove that.
#page{background-image:url(http://www.pryligatips.se/wp-content/themes/mystique/images/_alt/header2.jpg);}Wow, I had totally missed that code-snippet… Thank you very much!
You’re welcome 🙂
Wow! thanks Kerem.. worked perfect.
Im just playing around with this theme and it’s great. How do I change the font size on the headings? Anyone know.. I see where you can change the font types but not size.
Specifically I want to change titles a little smaller on the Single posts page.
Thanks!
This may work when added to User CSS tab:
h1.title{font-weight: bold;font-size: 180%;margin:0 0 .2em 0;padding:.2em 0 0 0;text-shadow: #fff 1px 1px 1px;}Answer of your all questions are here:

Hi, great blog!
I’m also using the same theme and I was wondering if you had any insight on how to take out the header text from the site? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Megan

Hi again Kerem, thanks for your post about adding additional icons, it helped out.
I have an unrelated question though. I changed my home page to a static page and blog to a page named “blog.” But now my “blog” page button stays down even though im on another page. Is there something i can do? Thank you.
Well, that, I don’t know Edgar, sorry.
I’ve been wondering how you change the RSS link in the RSS icon..I’ve been searching everywhere for this solution..please help!
You can write
'http://your_rss_url'instead ofget_bloginfo('rss2_url')to set the RSS URL to whatever you like.Hi can you tell me where this is located? is this in the header.php folder or a subfolder within the mystique theme? i cant find exactly where’s get_bloginfo(‘rss2_url’) to replace it with my URL. Thanks a lot!
Check this post, you can see where
get_bloginfo('rss2_url')is used, in the examples.thanks! turns out that mystique version 2.2 gives you the option to modify the RSS and twitter link thorugh the mystique/navigation settings. so i dowloaded that version here: http://digitalnature.ro/projects/mystique/comment-page-123/#comment-7425
Edgar, you are aware that the comment chain you provided on Digital Nature also goes to my post that I directed you to, right? 😉
The correct link should be http://digitalnature.ro/projects/mystique/. And yes, it seems like version 2.2 gives the ability to customize the RSS feed link and twitter user.
Cheers.
Hi, how did you get to re-arrange the menu for the pages?
I would like to have “about” last but no matter what value I assign to the pages in the edit-> attributes option is is alphabetical with about being first…
Thx.
T.
Hi Tomas,
It seems like you have been able to rearrange your pages before I could answer your question. 🙂

I agree this is an awesome theme, I found it to be easily customized and much more. I changed the background so it looks more personal also, then I added my companies logo. Feel free to check it out and let me know what you think haha. Awesome blog by the way.
